Our Doctors
Dr. Jeremy S. Campbell, O.D.
Doctor Details:
Dr. Campbell is a 1996 graduate of Russellville High School. Following high school he began college at Northwest Shoals Community College before transferring to Samford University where he graduated in 1999 with a B.S. in Biology. He then continued his education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where he graduated in 2004 with his Doctorate of Optometry. He currently owns and operates Campbell Vision Center, Inc. in Russellville, Alabama. "I am very happy for the opportunity to practice optometry back in my hometown of Russellville with friends and family." |
Dr. Campbell is married to the former Amy Sampson, a native of Haleyville, Alabama. They have three beautiful children, Emma, Asher, and Mae. They are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Russellville. For enjoyment, they love "family time," whether it is at home on the couch, tailgating at Alabama football games, or a vacation to the beach.
Dr. Lauren N. Stirling, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Doctor Details:
Dr. Lauren Stirling specializes in the management of a variety of pre- and post-operative surgical procedures, including cataract surgery and refractive procedures. Her clinical experience also encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Stirling graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry Degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, graduating with academic honors and receiving the Clinical Excellence Award. |
Upon graduation, Dr. Stirling completed a Primary Care residency with an emphasis in Ocular Disease at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she trained in hospital-based optometry and co-management of complex eye diseases. She served as clinical and center director for an ophthalmology surgical referral center in Florence for five years prior to joining Campbell Vision Center.
She is a member of the Alabama Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. She also currently serves as a board member of the Alabama Optometric Association and serves on the Alabama Board of Optometric Scholarships. Dr. Stirling was the recipient of the 2020 ALOA Young Optometrist of the Year.
Although she now embraces Alabama as her home, as a Louisiana native, Dr. Stirling is a LSU and Saints football fan and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She resides in Florence with her husband, Joseph, and daughters, Addison, Avery, & Abigail.
